I just saw the amazing Salma Hayek in the 2002 movie “Frida”. What an fascinating personality! Madonna sung her praises when she said in “Super Pop” she’d be Frida Kahlo if she were a painter. Although struggling with various health issues she remained positive. Even after her foot was amputated she said “feet, what do I need them for if I have wings”. Here work inspired generations all over the work and the big intellectuals and artists of her time like Picasso or Duchamp. Some of them fell victim to here charme like her husband the painter Diego Rivera or the former Soviet leader Leon Trotsky with whom she had a brief affair. Watch the movie!
